Journal Paper Accepted:  A paper entitled "Dynamical and microphysical characteristics of Arctic clouds using integrated observations collected over SHEBA during the April 1998 FIRE-ACE flights of the Canadian Convair" was accepted for publicaion (subject to revision) in the journal Meteorology and Atmospheric Physics.  The paper is authored by I. Gultepe, G. Isaac (Meteorological Service of Canada), J. Key, T. Uttal, J. Intrieri (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration), D. Starr (National Aeronautics and Space Administration), and K. Strawbridge (Meteorological Service of Canada).  The paper presents a comparison of cloud microphysical properties as observed by aircraft, satellite, and surface instruments during the Surface Heat Budget of the Arctic (SHEBA), First International Satellite Cloud Climatology Project Regional Experiment-Arctic Clouds Experiment (FIRE/ACE) project. Presentation on Future GOES Sounders at ITOVS Conference: J. Li will present "Studies of Advanced Baseline Sounder for future Geostationary Environmental Operational Satellite (GOES)" at the International Television InfraRed Observation Satellite (TIROS) Operational Vertical Sounder (ITOVS) conference in Australia. The authors are J. Li, T.J. Schmit, H. L. Huang, and W. P. Menzel. This presentation will highlight current versus future capability with high spectral data.  (J. Li,  CIMSS, 608-262-3755, T.
