ITEMS FOR THE DIVISION CHIEF, CoRP:

VISITview Teletraining Software Updated: The VISITview software package, employed for teletraining activities by the National Weather Service (NWS), the World Meteorological Organization (WMO), and others, and developed under the Virtual Institute for Satellite Integration Training (VISIT) has been updated. The update includes enhancements to the User Interface to add a more obvious "help" activation button, improved rendering of Instructor Notes, and better layout of the control panel; significant addition to the Lesson Builder to enable the editing of "recorded" lessons while preserving the audio and annotation recording; and augmented code in the VISITview Server to overcome difficulties when users on slow networks disconnect.
