New Global Cryosphere Watch "Snow Tracker": The Finnish Meteorological Institute (FMI) has created a daily Northern Hemisphere SWE (snow water equivalent) Tracker for the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) Global Cryosphere Watch (GCW). It's been a snowy winter in the Northern Hemisphere! The SWE Tracker is showing anomalously high snow cover relative to the long-term mean. The SWE Tracker provides a quick look at the current snow water equivalent compared to a long-term climatology. It is available on the Cryosphere Now Snow page of the GCW website at http://globalcryospherewatch.org. The GCW website is hosted by the Space Science and Engineering Center (SSEC). (J.
