ASPB Support of the Annual AMS Meetings: T. Schmit participated in the American Meteorological Society (AMS) Annual Meeting held in Phoenix, Arizona. He was co-chair for the 11th Annual Symposium on New Generation Operational Environmental Satellite Systems, gave an oral presentation ("Preparing Users for the Advanced Baseline Imager (ABI) on Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellite"), and served as a student poster judge.  (T. SSEC "Through the Atmosphere" Published: The winter 2015 edition of Through the Atmosphere has been published. The new issue focuses on research-to-operations initiatives of the Space Science and Engineering Center (SSEC) and the Cooperative Institute for Meteorological Satellite Studies (CIMSS). Feature articles cover topics such as the Community Satellite Processing Package, GOES-R Advanced Baseline Imager, United States Geological Survey and Federal Emergency Management Agency collaborations, atmospheric motion vectors, and the ProbSevere model. The issue includes interviews with several Advanced Satellite Products Branch (ASPB) scientists. It is available online at http://www.ssec.wisc.edu/through-the-atmos/. (T.
