Schmit on WORT Radio: On February 9, 2017, Tim Schmit discussed the Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellites (GOES)-16 on the Perpetual Notion Machine show on WORT FM radio. Presentation at Fourth Santa Fe Conference on Global and Regional Climate Change: Yinghui Liu of the Cooperative Institute for Meteorological Satellite Studies (CIMSS) presented an invited talk titled "Using Multiple Satellites to Understand the role of Arctic clouds" at the Fourth Santa Fe Conference on Global and Regional Climate Change, February 6-10, 2017. This conference focused on climate change and variability from observational and modeling perspectives. In this talk, he discussed the strength and limitations of space-based cloud observations in the Arctic, and their applications in studying Arctic clouds and the Arctic climate system. (Y.
