GOES-R Cloud Products Achieve Beta Maturity: The final two GOES-R Cloud Algorithms achieved Beta Maturity Status this week. The Daytime and Nighttime Cloud Optical And Microphysical Properties (DCOMP and NCOMP) algorithms and their associated products were the last of the cloud products to be reviewed. These two algorithms generate the cloud optical depth, cloud particle size and liquid/ice water path products. With their passing, all GOES-R Cloud Products are now declared beta and their distribution to users will commence. (A. Walther, CIMSS, andi.walther@ssec.wisc.edu, P.
