VISIT TROWAL training for the NWS Cleveland Forecast Office: Scott Lindstrom, Cooperative Institute for Meteorological Satellite Studies (CIMSS), provided training on Troughs of Warm Air Aloft (TROWALs) to three staff forecasters at the Cleveland National Weather Service Forecast Office on Monday 30 December 2019. This VISIT (Virtual Institute for Satellite Integration Training) session was 30 minutes in length and reminded forecasters of how TROWAL identification can enhance Decision Support during storms.
