Students from 9 different schools around the U.S. submitted projects on topics ranging from wildfires to severe weather to lightning and the Hunga Tonga volcano eruption. Three projects earned honorable mentions and two took first place. Participating students excelled in explanations and examples of how different ABI bands provide insight into natural phenomena and extreme weather events.
