Real-Time MODIS Daytime RGB Image from McMurdoThe MODIS daytime RGB (red-green-blue) product is generated on-site at McMurdo, Antarctica, using data from the National Science Foundation's direct broadcast system. It is a composite of MODIS bands 1, 7, and 31 (0.6, 2.1, and 11 microns). NOTE: During dark periods, which may be half of the year at high latitudes, these images will be a single color, and not very interesting! Here are the most recent images.
