FluxNet: Examples

FluxNet is currently being used in CASPR (see the CASPR Web page) to compute radiative fluxes based on cloud and surface properties estimated from AVHRR data, to process the TOVS Path-P Polar Pathfinder data, and to compute radiative fluxes with the International Satellite Cloud Climatology Project (ISCCP) D1 cloud data set (click here for an example, which shows daily average surface radiative fluxes June 2, 1986 over the Arctic). Regarding the accuracy of FluxNet, click here to see a comparison of FluxNet and Streamer  (see the User's Guide for more details).
