ASPT Supports the Federal Combined Campaign:
The Advanced Satellite Products Team (ASPT) in Madison, WI fully
supported the 2005 Federal Combined Campaign (CFC). The
United Way of Dane County was the local administrator for the CFC in
Madison. In addition to the five (5) ASPT members, three (3)
other associated NOAA employees or recent retirees contributed, pushing
the participation rate over 100%. ASPT had one Eagle
Giver. Although the total dollar
amount was slightly less than last year’s, the average gift
was increased (as ASPT shrank from its previous seven members the year
before). (G.S. Wade, E/RA2,

NESDIS Science Forum Meeting: J. Key
participated via telecon in the NESDIS Science Forum planning meeting
on December 1. The meeting, headed by Ralph Ferraro, was
convened to discuss a forum that in part would replace the Research and
Development Council. (J. Key, E/RA2,

VISITORS:
University
of Maryland Visitors: Jonathon
E. Mote and Jerry Hage of the Center for Innovation at the University
