Invited Speaker on VISIT at Congresso Brasileiro Meteorologia: Tom Whittaker (Cooperative Institute for Meteorological Satellite Studies, CIMSS) was an invited speaker at the CBMET (Congresso Brasileiro Meteorologia), held in Florianopolis, Brazil, November 27 through December 1,  2006.  CBMET is the Brazilian equivalent to the annual American Meteorological Society meeting.  He made an oral presentation about the Virtual Institute for Satellite Integration Training (VISIT) program and the VISITview tools to the general assembly and also conducted a 2 hour workshop on creating lessons with VISITview.  (T.
