CLAVR-x Goes Operational on METOP: The Clouds
from AVHRR Extended (CLAVR-x) cloud processing system applied to the
Metop AVHRR data achieved operational status this week. The Advanced
Very High Resolution Radiometer (AVHRR) on the Europe's Metop series of polar orbiting satellites
allows NOAA for the first time to provide global cloud products with a
