4th US National Climate Assessment Report Draft Completed: The First Order Draft (FOD) of the Climate Science Special Report (CSSR) for the Fourth National Climate Assessment (NCA4) was completed this week. Jim Kossin (NCEI/CWC) serves as the Chapter Lead on chapter 9 ("Extreme Storms") and as a Lead Author on chapters 1 ("Introduction: The Changing Climate"), 3 ("Detection and Attribution of Climate Change"), and 5 ("Large-Scale Circulation and Climate Variability").
