WMO Rolling Review of Requirements Engagement Workshop: The World Meteorological Organization (WMO) held a Rolling Review of Requirements (RRR) Engagement Workshop in Geneva, Switzerland, on June 3 and 5, 2025. The purpose of the workshop was to engage with the WMO Earth System Application Area (ESAC) Coordinators and facilitate their work towards completing the transition to the new RRR. Jeff Key, Cooperative Institute for Meteorological Satellite Studies (CIMSS), participated remotely. Key is the Cryosphere ESAC Coordinator. He presented the status of the Statement of Guidance for Cryosphere Applications, and also presented lessons learned from the process. While the sea ice portion of the Cryosphere SoG is essentially complete, work on the other components -- snow, glaciers and ice sheets, permafrost -- will continue into 2026. (J.
