FluxNet: Examples
FluxNet is currently being used in CASPR (see the
CASPR
Web
page) to compute radiative fluxes based on cloud and surface properties
estimated from AVHRR data, to process the TOVS Path-P Polar Pathfinder
data, and to compute radiative fluxes with the International Satellite
Cloud Climatology Project (ISCCP) D1 cloud data set (click
here for an example, which shows daily average surface radiative fluxes
June 2, 1986 over the Arctic). Regarding the accuracy of FluxNet,
